
Client: San Jose Unified School District
SJUSD wanted educators, partners, administrators, students, and parents to understand the District's enormous challenges in working with the diverse culture. The District also wanted to inform these audiences of the outstanding accomplishments of the year. The vehicle for these messages was their annual report. While not a document subject to SEC audit, this report is the single-most important communication by the District.
Creative-Ops represented the District with the headline: We Are the World. Then, in ten spreads, this message was visually and verbally reinforced.
The report was submitted to the California School Public Relations Association (CalSPRA) 2001 Communications Contest and received the first-place Award of Excellence in the annual report category.
