sound familiar?Steve’s company had outgrown their website. The site no longer reflected the company’s capabilities, information was hopelessly out of date, and branding had gone by the wayside. To get something started, Steve called in a website project manager from Creative-Ops. After a series of short meetings, Creative-Ops delivered stunning concepts for a new site that not only repositioned the company, but also incorporated a content management system to help with ongoing site maintenance. |

Website design and developmentCreative-Ops develops custom designs for every site we produce that reflect the marketing strategy, user experience, and visual identity that we’ve identified as crucial to your company’s success. It costs a bit more, but it’s worth it. To help you incorporate strategic and branding values, Creative-Ops will map out site planning, architecture and navigation in advance, so that you can see how information will be organized. And we’ll develop up to three or more custom layouts that include your home page as well as secondary and tertiary levels. Gathering informationPhase I: Business Strategy Development. Creative-Ops will meet with the your team members to clarify objectives, identify subjective preferences, discuss possible thematic approaches, and uncover potential problems. Phase II: Information Architecture Planning. Based on the input from our meetings with your staff, Creative-Ops will develop a site map that depicts how your new website should be organized. This step helps everyone to clarify navigation requirements and prioritize information. Each page will be identified as static or dynamic. For dynamic pages, we’ll clarify technology requirements and address the feasibility of adding development modules for content management, marketing, or ecommerce as necessary. Creating your website experiencePhase III: Creative Development. With approved designs, Creative-Ops will begin HTML development of the home page, as well as templates for secondary and tertiary pages for each section of the website. We’ll coordinate any outsourced application development to save you money while preserving site objectives. A working prototype is deployed prior to final assembly and production to keep everyone on-target. Testing and delivering your sitePhase V:: Testing. Finally, when site development is complete, we’ll stage your site in a protected directory on our servers. We’ll conduct platform, browser and functionality testing while you review content. Phase VI: Final Delivery. When all browser-specific issues have been corrected, we’ll deliver the final site to you or load it directly onto a server. We also maintain a current back-up of your site, ready to re-stage at a moment’s notice. Phase VII: Ongoing Support.
